Itinerary

Day 1Arrival / Bentota

On arrival at the Bandaranayke International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality Representative from Seerock holidays will welcome you at the airport and proceed to Bentota. (Approx.: travel time 02 ½ hrs).
Check-in to the hotel in Bentota and relax after the flight journey.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Bentota/ Beruwala.

Day 2 - 6Bentota

After breakfast, Leisure on the beach you could do following activities.

01. “Mangrove forest” Madu river boat ride (Optional)

You will have an opportunity to experiance an hour boat ride in a local fishing boat though the river. But you will not want it to end. Numerous islets covered with luxuriant mangrove vegetation forming the best mangrove system seen in SriLanka. Unique eco-system well known for its variety of bird life making it attractive to bird lovers.

02. Enjoy the day with Water Sports. (Optional)

Water sport package includes – Jet Ski (5 min) + Banana Ride (5 min) + Sofa Tube Ride (5 min).
Our well-trained and experienced instructors and certificate holders are pleased to welcome you in our water sport center and to assist you in the discovery of the richness of the tropical water.

Day 7Bentota / Mirissa

After breakfast, proceed to Mirissa.

Day 8 - 13Mirissa

After breakfast, Leisure on the beach or you could do following activities.

01. Enjoy the day with Water Sports. (Optional)

Early morning do a Whale & Dolphin Watching excursion in Mirissa.
The ever smiling, mischievous dolphins will put on a show while some of the oldest and the largest sea creatures, the humpback and the blue whales, will nonchalantly  glide past you, when you embark on a whale/ dolphin watching excursion off the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. The ideal locations for whale watching would be Dondra Point (Mirissa) and Trincomalee while the sea off Kalpitiya teems with an abundance of dolphins.

02. Explore “UNESCO World Heritage site” The City Tour in Galle by cycles. (Optional)

Galle, has one of the most beautiful old Dutch / Portuguese Forts in all of South East Asia. It is a Port town and there is a thriving neighbourhood with the Fort Walls. Once inside you can walk around the Old Fort and get lost amongst all the small streets. Spend an hour or so wandering around the Old Dutch Church in the heat of the day and read some of the old Tombstones from 200 yearsago.

03. Do a half day safari game drive at Udawalawe National Park. (Optional)

In the afternoon do a half day game safari at Udawalawa national park by a jeep.
The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. Udawalawe is an important habitat for water birds and Sri Lankan elephants. It is a popular tourist destination and the third most visited park in the country.

Day 14Mirissa / Airport

Transfer to the Airport in time to connect with the departure flight.
